“Brittany Fridenstine’s Sugarplum Fairy is not merely a confection: you have the impression she’s considering the day-to-day business of the Kingdom of Sweets as she dances. Fridenstine doesn’t flaunt her balances or “nail” her fouettes; she makes them part of the dance, part of the character she invents.”  --Minnesota Monthly Magazine (Lightsey Darst), December 20, 2004, mnartists.org

“Brittany Fridenstine was lovely while working deeply through the spine.”-- Dance Magazine (Wendy Perron), September 14, 2010

“...Brittany Fridenstine is there...with her own pure force. Her technique, though good, isn’t what distinguishes her; it’s her ability to be a glass for the dance, wholly devoted to Burns’svision. She holds nothing back and keeps no quirks. Fridenstine is incandescent.” --Minnesota Monthly Magazine (Lightsey Darst), Oct 2, 2004, mnartists.org
